The oyster is pretty unattractive. A pearl is, however, universally viewed as a thing of beauty and value.
And what is a pearl?
An impurity that has been dealt with.
The bigger the pearl, the more treasured it is.
There is a moral to be found in that. We all are filled with pearls and our biggest internal flaws, when dealt with, create our greatest beauty.
